A Tour of my GROOVY Notion Space (+ Template)

Making things beautiful may not be “productive”, but it sure makes being productive more enjoyable! Therefore, I pride myself on making ~aesthetically pleasing~ Notion layouts.

My latest homepage / planner / to-do list combines pastels, groovy lines, and mod flowers for a visually appealing layout. Let’s take a tour!

  1. Main Page / Homepage

I LOVE using the columns feature in Notion! It allows pages to be broken down by category, and provides a natural layout for the eye to follow.

At the top of each column, I added a label. You can create these in Canva, then paste them as a photo at the top of each column.

2. Planner

I needed a place to take big goals and break them into tangible, actionable steps. I created multiple Kanban boards and determined the timescale for each. So the top board contains SUPER long-term goals (dreaming), and I throw all of my life aspirations in there. Once those have been determined, I’ll move on to the next timescale (next 1–3 years) and determine what I’ll need to accomplish, so on and so forth. Basically, I convert my dreams into a tangible list of things to do.

I of course keep a link to my to-do list and habits/routines in my planner page.

3. To-Do List

My to-do list contains a place to access my habits and routines, links to important pages and websites, and of course the checklist!

I strongly suggest using template buttons if you are first starting off in Notion. They are super useful!
